The Trio

  • The Herder
    A tribute to my personal entertainment crew: All three are addicted to paper. It started with Grover, plain paper, to-do lists, magazines, cardboard boxes, junk mail, paper towels. You name the paper and he will eat it. Like all good doggies the other two have learned to enjoy paper as much as Grover. A quick look at my office on any given day and you will understand the extent to which they love paper. My vacuum has the real issue with all this paper. I am sure a trash can with a lid would help, but somehow I fear this would cause withdrals of the paper kind which would then be replaced with more bizzar behavior. So here is my tribute to the paper eating trio who fill my days with paper eating, the ability to sleep until I get on very important conference call an then promptly wake up and bark, defend the house twice a week from the garbage truck. and love to announce the post lady with gusto

More Heat!

It's hot out and more of it to come and I'm still pissed at Obama. 

 

Dallas, TX has seen 37 straight days of temperatures of at least 100 degrees, 5 days from tying the all-time record of 42 days set back in 1980. Annually, Dallas sits tied at 6th all-time for the number of 100+ degree days (44).
